Makenzie is an MSW graduate student at the University of Akron. Her clinical training includes motivational interviewing and trauma-informed care, and she has experience working with survivors of intimate-partner violence. Makenzie takes a client-centered, strengths-based approach and is committed to helping clients develop effective coping strategies, strengthen emotional awareness, and work toward meaningful change.
